A Note of Thanks
First and foremost, I want to say “Thank you” to everyone who commented, liked, or shared my last post about aid for the victims of the recent storms. We’ve been dealt a heavy blow in Florida with two major hurricanes in three weeks. The destruction is monumental, but we are #FloridaStrong and will recover. As we and others in affected states begin rebuilding, I ask for your continued thoughts and prayers. And, I hope you will also take a moment to find joy in your daily lives, perhaps by enjoying some fishing or another beloved pastime.
A Collection of Favorites
I’m concluding the series “Gone Fishin’” by sharing more favorite photos featuring my fellow early risers doing what they love. Even though I never saw their faces, I somehow knew they had found their balance in life as I watched them quietly casting their lines. Another day, another opportunity to catch the “big one.”
Lessons Learned
Perhaps we can all learn something from them. I know I certainly did. Even in the mornings, when the fish don’t bite (a.k.a. The sun doesn’t shine), they return to the lake. Embrace your passion. Stay dedicated to your craft. And find something you love so much that no matter the obstacles, you find a way to enjoy it at every opportunity.
See you at sunrise!
