Is It one or Two?
When people see this photo, they always ask me if it was two separate sunrises I edited together! It is a perfect example of two very different scenes becoming one. This scene is one of those rare and beautiful Sunrise Intersections. Thus, let’s stop at, and admire a moment with everything heading towards a “Collision Course.”
100% Satisfaction Guaranteed
With beautiful muted colors, the frame has all the necessary elements to satisfy the viewer. The Sunrise Intersections was evident when photographing the moment because the color scheme changed dramatically from blue-gray to mauve. But the finishing touch is the line of white clouds and their reflection. Notice how they are curved directly above where the scene changes. If you look closely at the center of the photograph, you can see the vertical line separating the two scenes. And the placement of the clouds draws your eye to the middle, creating the perfect balance.
Another critical element in achieving this shot was the location within the location where the sunrise intersected beautifully.
