A New Collection
Over the next few days, I’d like to introduce you to a series called Sunrise Intersections. The vibrant hues in a Colorful Sunrise often inspire these pieces. I would love to know if you see what I see when you view this colorful sunrise collection, so please share your comments below.
Do You See It?
It was not initially visible when I was taking the photos, but the intersections became apparent once I was in the editing room. Each appears to be two sunrises intersecting in the middle, drawing your eyes directly to a focal point where they should be! The intricate details become more noticeable as you observe the colorful sunrise.
A Personal Favorite
I’m starting this series featuring one of my favorites. Once again, all the ingredients are present to make it a beautiful morning. And the silhouette of the pier provides just enough contrast to add an artistic element and even a bit of mystery to the overall effect of the colorful sunrise photo, which leads me to my next tip.
Photography Tip #6
Don’t shy away from including manufactured objects in your colorful sunrise photos. This is especially true if they can be in silhouette, as in today’s image. These objects allow the viewer to create their own story. They may imagine themselves being present in the moment, enjoying the breathtaking view unfolding before them. And as a sunrise photographer, there is no greater compliment than someone being wholly immersed in one of your colorful sunrise shots.
