No journey to the beautiful city of Orleans’ is complete without a visit to the stunning Catherale’ Sainte Croix Orleans’ in the heart of Old Town. Home to the place of worship for the city’s heroine, Saint Joan of Arc. When you step inside and realize you are standing where she stood the feeling is very surreal as you pause to view her family’s crest displayed above.

Incredible sculptures, stained glass windows, marble statues, gold chalices and small chapels share the history and story of the church and country. And etched into vast marble walls is the depiction of the Passion of Christ. The experience is quite moving, which is why this truly is one of the “Wonders Outside of Paris”.
