At the base of a glacier, Lake Louise in Banff National Park is one of the most beautiful lakes on earth. The pristine water and stunning backdrop of the mountains makes this an incredibly memorable experience. We chose to see it from a canoe, which affords breathtaking a 360 degree view to appreciate your surroundings.

Unfortunately it was very crowded during our visit and there was construction taking place at the Chateau Fairmont, so it wasn’t ideal for photos. However after an invigorating canoe trip, we enjoyed lunch in the lounge with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the lake. It was the perfect place to relax and just soak in the beauty that of nature’s majesty.
