As we continue exploring the Wonders of Paris, today’s journey takes us to perhaps one of the most beautiful buildings in the world, the Paris Palais Garnier (Paris Opera House). From the moment you approach this magnificent structure you are awestruck. And once inside, the wonder continues, with incredible opulence around every corner. But also intrigue, as this was the home of the famed Phantom of the Opera!

The main hall leaves one’s jaw hanging wide open as you take in the grand staircase, sculptures, intricately carved wood and pillars, marble staircases, glorious ceiling, stunning chandeliers and even the floor itself. A masterpiece all. So to experience its grandeur, we will tour it in two parts.
